Project Description

KSOSA

Web

Kathy Sosa was an independent marketing, political design consultant before starting a career in fine arts in the early 2000s. She received national recognition with her traveling exhibition “Huipiles: a Celebration,” which debuted at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington, D.C. as part of the Smithsonian Latino Center’s 2007 summer season “Mexico at the Smithsonian.” Now a renowned artist, her work explores a variety of mediums and has been exhibited in several galleries and exhibits across the nation.

We had the honor of helping Kathy redesign her website in the summer of 2019. The redesign discarded the former website entirely, changing the structure and visual aesthetic. The redesign uses a clean layout that allows artwork to be displayed at large sizes in some areas, while making effective use of white space and elegant typography – all bringing Kathy’s artwork to the forefront.
